TITLE: Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions

STATION(S): WDEN, WIFN, WPEZ, WMGB, WDDO, WMAC, WAYS, WLZN
DEPARTMENT: Promotions
BASIC JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinating and maintaining a strong internship program; assisting in the planning and execution of promotional events; completing daily tasks including fulfillment of on-air contesting, scheduling of promotional events calendar, attending sales and promotional meetings as necessary, assisting in the upkeep of station vehicles, and managing premium item inventory; assisting the Director of Marketing and Promotions with tasks as needed. The right candidate may also assist in programming and production tasks as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record is a must. Minimum 1 year of marketing or promotions experience. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.and be able to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING:
4-year college degree in the field of Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred. Minimum 1 year of marketing or promotions experience. Previous radio promotions experience a plus.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often dealing with the public.
