Taylor Swift has not recorded the end title song for Toy Story 5, according to comments from the film’s creative team after recent fan speculation connected her to the upcoming animated sequel.
The rumor began after Swift briefly shared a countdown on her website with visuals that some fans linked to the Toy Story franchise. During a recent discussion about the film, director Andrew Stanton and producer Lindsey Collins addressed the speculation directly. Collins said the idea would be amazing, while Stanton said they would be honored to have Swift involved, but he clarified that she has not done the movie’s end title track.
That does not fully answer every fan question about the soundtrack. Stanton’s comment specifically referred to the end title song, leaving open the possibility that Swift’s music could appear elsewhere in the film. For now, though, there is no confirmed Taylor Swift song attached to Toy Story 5.
Toy Story 5 is expected to continue one of Pixar’s most familiar franchises, with interest already building around its story, cast, and music.
